How long will my order take to make and ship?
Each piece is custom made with love and care. Our current turnaround time is 1–2 weeks before postage for embroidered pieces. You’ll receive tracking details once your order has been shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide!
- International Standard: usually 2–3 weeks
- International Express: 5–10 business days
Delivery times may vary depending on location and customs. Standard international shipping does not include a signature; Express includes signature on delivery for added security.

What sizes are your blankets and rompers?
Blankets: approx. 100 x 80 cm — perfect for bassinets, prams, and cuddles.
Rompers: available in newborn to 12 months. Refer to our online size guide for full details.
Are your products organic or certified?
Yes! All of our knitted goods are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, ensuring they’re safe, soft, and sustainable for little ones.
What does GOTS-certified mean?
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard - the world’s leading certification for organic fibres. It guarantees that the cotton used in our blankets and knits is:
- Grown and processed without harmful chemicals or toxic dyes
- Produced under ethical working conditions
- Made with respect for sustainable and environmentally responsible practices
In simple terms, when you see GOTS-certified organic cotton, you can trust it’s safe for your baby’s delicate skin and kind to the planet.
How do I personalise my order?
Personalising your Baby Mimico keepsake is simple:
- Choose your embroidery options → select single or double name, and thread colour from the dropdown menus on the product page.
- Add your baby’s name(s) → type the name exactly as you’d like it embroidered in the Notes section on the product page. Select the positioning of the name from the drop down option.
The limits of letters for each product will be on the individual product listing. - Add any extras → such as gift notes, gift box or rush order options, before completing your purchase.
We’ll take care of the rest, ensuring your piece is stitched with love and attention to detail.
How do I care for my blanket or romper?
Gentle cold machine wash in a laundry bag
Dry flat in the shade
Do not tumble dry
A small amount of stabiliser may appear on embroidery backs - this will dissolve after the first wash.
Can I include a gift note with my order?
Absolutely! Leave your message in the order notes at checkout and we’ll write a card to include with your gift.
Do you offer express or rush shipping?
Yes! You can upgrade to express postage at checkout. For urgent orders, select ‘Rush My Order’ product listing to bump your order to the top of the queue and ensure it ships as quickly as possible.
Where are our Items created and made?
Our Items are designed by us in the Sunshine Coast, Australia and Ethically made in China by a small business. All Embroidery and finishes are done by us in our home studio.
Do I need to pay tariffs or duties on my order?
For our customers in the USA, the new tariff fees are calculated at checkout. For customers in the UK and EU, we invite you to shop through our Etsy store at babymimico.etsy.com. Etsy automatically collects and remits VAT for these regions, ensuring a smooth delivery experience.
